Description

BBYO is not only the oldest and largest Jewish Youth Organization; it is also led by the youth themselves. Through membership in democratically functioning chapters, and by becoming active in all levels of the organization, BBYO members learn by doing. All programs for BBYO members fall into the socisl, athletic, eduacational, community service, cultural, and judaic realms. BBYO strives to help its members: 1. Form strong, lasting friendships with other Jewish youth. 2. Enhance leadership skills 3. Further personal growth 4. Strengthen Jewish Identity 5. Foster a positive sense of community responsibility 6. Increase understanduing and regard for the democratic process.
