Description

At OAI, we serve multi-lingual/multi-ethnic educationally and economically disadvantaged individuals (TANF recipients), at-risk youths from environmentally distressed areas, empowerment zone/enterprise community residents, dislocated and low-skill/low wage incumbent workers. Our services include: Employer-driven customized and short term occupational skills training; life skills/critical thinking skills instruction, workplace literacy and English as a Second Language (ESL) training; basic technology courses; hazardous materials/environmental remediation training; recruitment, placement & follow-up; post-placement case management, career planning and supportive services; management and supervisory workshops.

Even if we currently don't have volunteer opportunities posted, we may need some help in the office, computer lab, or in the classroom. Or, we may need donated items. Give us a call or send an email.
