Description

In the heart of Silicon Valley and home to Stanford University, Palo Alto is the world’s premier center for modern technological innovation. Since 1878 when Eadweard Muybridge created the first photographic motion studies for Leland Stanford, Palo Alto has been a fertile meeting ground for film, technology and venture capital. Today, technological advances in media and cinema are democratizing the art form, creating powerful new tools for storytelling, and producing paradigm shifts in the way moving images can be made and shared. PAIFF’s presentations, workshops, and panel discussions provide an opportunity to learn about the latest media and technology developments, and to interact with industry legends and cutting-edge innovators. Armed with unique approaches and common passions, these individuals, come together at PAIFF to share the ideas that are igniting current and future cinematic revolutions.
