The mission of the Humanist Fellowship of San Diegois to function as an informative, educational, and social resource for its members and to advance public awareness of Humanism and the acceptance of its principles of social progress through democratic dialog, the promotion of critical thinking, community service, personal acts of compassion, and the pursuit of justice.

Description

The Humanist Fellowship of San Diego affirms that human experience is the fundamental source for ultimate values and concerns pertaining to all individuals and societies; that all peoples should live in a free, democratic environment that promotes individual self-determination guided by a Humanistic philosophy built upon principles of rationalism, compassion, and justice.

I devote several hours of every day to the organization. I believe in advancing a secular agenda, humanistic values, and scientific literacy. The Humanist Fellowship of San Diego is one organization in San Diego doing just that. Plus, they are nice people.
