Description

SOS offers emergency grants, counseling, case management and referrals. Our aid has provided a safety net preventing many from becoming homeless and from losing basic necessities such as electricity and phone. More importantly, SOS has been a lifeline to nearly 50% of our clients who have had medical needs resulting from an emergency or a chronic disabling situation. Our grants have not only helped them to maintain a stable living situation, but have also enabled them to obtain or continue medical treatment such as chemotherapy when it would have otherwise been impossible.
