Mission Statement

It is the goal of the foundation to develop an awareness in the community of the cultural value of this project; initiate programs of fund raising; seek and apply for city, state, federal and private funds in support of the project; work with local school ditricts, colleges and universities on the developement of appropriate education programs; and promote the cutural diversity of the city by preserving the cultural heritage.

Description

The Summers Hotel foundation is a non-profit organization comprised of a coalition of multi-cultural community members. It is the intent of the foundation to provide a vehicle for the restoration and renovation of the Summers Hotel for the purpose of commemorating history with the development of a museum
