They will be offering their 104th volunteer crisis counselor training in September 2024. The training will take place one evening a week for 10 weeks plus one full weekend. Following the training, new volunteer crisis counselors will be supported by seasoned Listeners during a 24-hour internship before they take calls on their own. Caring Contact provides ongoing support and training opportunities to allow volunteers to hone their skills. This volunteer opportunity can be performed remotely after a successful training period.
