Mission Statement

Project Safe Place provides immediate access to immediate help and supportive services for all young people in crisis through a network of sites sustained by qualified agencies, trained volunteers and businesses.

Description

This is a national youth outreach program that educates thousands of young people about an alternative to running away--they can go to designated Safe Place sites for access to immediate help. Transportation to community resources, including counseling and a place to stay are provided. There are over 600 programs in 39 states.
