The RMCE website ( www.rmcecreate.org ) is a resource rich hub to find information about what is going on in your area by topic or calendar entry, who is teaching what you want to learn, why Creativity is is central to human development and happiness, help to decide what to do first, and what other communities are doing with their Creative Capital.
We maintain a database of venues and organizations that support Creativity, as well as suppliers of creative materials and services. This includes technical resources for non-profit administration, fundraising, advocacy, and programming. Creative entrepreneurs can also access information and services in running a successful for-profit business.
We also encourage guest bloggers to add their voice to the Creativity discussion, as well as maintaining a community bulletin board and calendar for RMCE and each part of the region.
RMCE maintains several online and real world programs to support our mission:
RMCE maintains a database of tutorials in specific Creative techniques and theories. These tutorials are donated by other Creatives and are available as free PDF downloads. The website also has links to outside websites offering free or low cost online tutorials and classes.
RMCE hosts an online market where individuals, non-profits, government entities, and businesses offer products, ideas, and classes to the community. A portion of all sales are donated to RMCE to help offset operating and programming expenses.
RMCE also has a membership program for individuals and organizations. Membership benefits include discounts on products and services, recognition on the website and promotional materials, and the heartfelt gratitude of RMCE staff and community.
RMCE hosts an annual Creativity Conference, as well as regional conferences throughout the year. The conferences bring together local and regional non-profits, community members, government officials, advocacy groups, and technical experts for a long weekend of networking, training and Creative experience.
