The Benton Harbor Public Library is a nonprofit, tax-supported institution. It was founded in 1899. It has always been located in downtown Benton Harbor. As a library, our focus is on assisting our users in their quest knowledge about the broader world, regardless of the format of that knowledge. We have strengths in reference, government information, children's, and teenage services.
