Mission Statement

The mission of THE CLEVELAND CHRISTIAN FOUNDATION is to help meet the mental, emotional, financial, social, and spiritual needs of all people regardless of race, social status, or religious affiliation. To realize this mission, we create and provide innovative programs in social services and education. These programs enable people in the community to gain the skills and knowledge necessary for self-respect, high self-esteem, self-sufficiency, and overall self-improvement. In furthering our mission, we develop partnerships with the community in order to help us achieve a society that promotes the dignity of all persons with no respect to race, social status, or religious affiliation.

Description

While CCF is a Christ-centered organization, we are not a church. We recognize the need to join forces with local churches of Greater Cleveland in order to provide spiritual nurturing and discipleship that are required for real hope and change in the lives of the people we serve. In realizing our calling, we have created innovative programs and services in the fields of social service and education, in addition to duplicating model programs and services, with some adaptations. Collectively, we are dubbing these programs and services the Empowering Greater Cleveland Project. Orchestrated by the Cleveland Christian Foundation, the Empowering Greater Cleveland Project is one that encompasses all aspects of living in the world today. We deal with many current social issues, often, simultaneously. Our programs and services include: • "Welcome Home" Ownership Program • Computer Training/Sales/Repairs • Single Moms Group • Tutoring & After School Program • Youth Business Startup Seminars • Grant Proposal Writing Workshops • Millionaire'$ Club • Book Publishing Services & Self-Publishing Seminars • Partnership for Summer Youth Employment Opportunities
