Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported 1-to-1 relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. Our vision is for all children to achieve success in life.

For more than 100 years nationally and over 50 locally, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. As the nation's largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers and a child, ages 7 to 17 years old.

I am a Big Sister to an 11 year girl. We are friends and we have so much fun together. I have also become friends with her family. My Little's family and I have one goal, to raise this child with as many experiences as possible. This relationship has added so much to my life, I cannot imagine life without her, I am sure she feels the same.
