Mission Statement
To prevent kidney and urinary tract diseases, improve the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by these diseases, and increase the availability of all organs for transplantation.
Description
The National Kidney Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) voluntary health organization dedicated to serving Georgians who are affected by kidney or urinary tract disease. Across Georgia, the Foundation brings hope to more than one million people affected by kidney disease through research, patient services, public information, professional education and organ donation programs. Programs include: a camp for children, health fairs, financial assistance, and a free health screening program. We are dependent on funds raised through individual and corporate contributions, special events, memorials, bequests and grants.
