Vista Vocational & Life Skills Center is a fully accredited, national recognized, post-secondary program for adults with neurological disabilities. Founded in 1989 as an alternative to a traditional college education, Vista has grown into a dynamic and innovative educational program serving about 165 adults. Vista students and members have an array of neurologial disabilites, such a autism spectrum disorders, pervasive developmental delay, acquired brain injury, seizure disorder, attention deficity disorders and learning disabilities. Vista offers a community based training program deigned for individual who would like to succeedat work and independent living, and who are seeking a non-traditional, non-academic approach to address their needs. Students practice through hands-on, experiential learning. Vista helps students transition to adulthood and to learn the social and vocational skills necessary to live as independently as possible.
