To share the love of Christ through these practical touch points on people's lives.

Essentially encapsulated by Psalm 9:18 - "For the needy shall not always be forgotten: the expectation (desire) of the poor shall not perish for ever" For more see our website: www.relief-networks.org

I spent 18 days in Nigeria with Relief Network Ministries, Inc. along with a team from my church. They are team that has a heart for people and meeting their need where they are whether providing clean water, hygiene training (partnering with Living Water International), or basic medical care and although we went to perform these tasks sharing the good news of Jesus Christ and loving the Nigerian people was our primary objective. Relief Network Ministries is an organization dedicated to meeting people where thay are and providing for basic needs. As a team, we were more deeply affected that were the people we went to serve. We saw Jesus grace and compassion in the hospitality and generosity of the villages we visited. In how they welcomed and treated us and each other and how they fully embrace Jesus Lordship in their lives. Releif Network Minsitries provided the means for our team to see God at work and for us to be part of that.

Sixteen of us (10 from Valley Springs Presbyterian Church in Roseville, California and 6 from Lighthouse Baptist Church in Texas) went to Nigeria for 18 days to dedicate 6 new water wells in Zing villages, provide medical assistance as well as health and hygiene training. Additional experiences in the eastern part of Nigeria. We partnered with Living Water, Inc., The Great Commission of Nigeria (The Jesus Film Project) and several Nigerian churches. It was an aswesome, life changing trip for all of us.
