To provide medical and health services to the aging community, as well as education to consumers and providers.

Description

The Program in Geriatrics at UCI provides consultation and medical care for the elderly. Board Certified Geriatricians are available all days of the week for primary care and consultation. Special programs include the Health Assessment Program for Seniors (HAPS) which has a site in both north and south county. Primary care and consultative care services are provided in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF's), Assisted Living Housing, and Residential Care Facilities for Elderly (RCFE's) and are available by appointment on varying weekdays
