Mission Statement

PINUPS FOR PITBULLS, Inc.’s mission is to work to educate the public about the history and temperament of the American Pit Bull Terrier and pit bull type dogs, to raise awareness about Breed Specific Legislation (B.S.L.) and Breed Discriminatory Laws (B.D.L) and breed-specific abuse, and to raise funds for bully-breed-friendly rescues and dogs in need.

Our goal is to re-establish the defamed reputation of Pit bull type dogs as America's premier companion animal, war hero, and therapy dog.

PINUPS FOR PITBULLS, Inc. strives to achieve this mission regardless of a person’s ability to contribute financially.

Through creating an annual pinup calendar, selling other merchandise, and throwing events, Pinups for Pitbulls, Inc. raises money and awareness to benefit the health and welfare of pit bull type dogs. The goal is to restore the former image of the American Pit Bull Terrier and other "bully breeds" as war hero, helper, nanny, companion and friend. Pinups for Pitbulls also raises awareness about Breed-Specific Legislation(B.S.L.), Breed Discrimintatoy Laws (B.D.L.)., and educates on responsible ownership, positive reinforcement training, and the social issues that pertain to these dogs and their owners.

PPFPB raises funds and awareness by creating and selling an annual calendar featuring women posed with their dogs and other animals, some of which are often rescues, therapy dogs, and animal cruelty survivors. Other merchanidse such as shirts, sweatshirts, stickers, magnets, jewelry, stationery and household items are designed and sold as well. PFPB also hosts and attends fund raisers and educational seminars year-round and nationwide.

Since 2005, Pinups for Pitbulls has doubled in size and distribution, and is incorporated and an official 501(c)3 organization.
