Mission Statement

The Volunteer Services Department is established to facilitate and continuously enhance an efficient and mutually beneficial relationship betwen community members who serve as North Oakland Medical Center volunteers and the North Oakland Medical Center staff.

Description

North Oakland Medical Centers, Oakland County's first hospital and a leading provider of health care to the entire region, is looking for cheerful adult volunteers. Homemakers, retirees, and anyone with some time available are invited to help with a wide range of tasks, from clerical to patient discharge. Plus, you will have the opportunity to volunteer at either NOMC"s main hospital in Pontiac or our Waterford Ambulatory Care Center. Affiliated organizations such as the NOMC Foundation and NOMC Auxiliary also have volunteer opportunities. Volunteer hours are available by scheduling through our Volunter Office.
