Mission Statement
Paws With A Cause trains Assistance dogs nationally for people with disabilities and provides lifetime team support which encourages independence. PAWS promotes awareness through education.
Description
The agency is dedicated to serving people with disabilities by training and placing specially trained Assistance Dogs. Assistance Dogs include Service Dogs for people with physical disabilities, Hearing Dogs for people who are hard-of hearing/deaf, and Combo Dogs for people with multiple disabilities. In addition to the training and placement of PAWS Assistance Dogs, Paws With A Cause presents educational programs that help educate children and adults about Assistance Dogs, the legal access rights of people accompanied by Assistance Dogs, and the organization's belief that "Disability Does Not Mean Inability."
