To provide a network of support, services, and informatoin to persons who are Deaf and/or hearing or speech impaired in Lake & Sumter Counties.

Description

The Deaf Service Center (DSC) provides the following services; 1.) sign language interpreters, 2.)sign language classes, 3.)computer & internet training for Deaf and hard of hearing, 4.) free hearing aids to persons without the financial resources to otherwise obtain them, 5.) free amplified telephones and tty's through FTRI, for Deaf and hard of hearing Florida residents, 6.) sell and provide free of charge other assisted listening devices.
