Mission Statement

The SLO Hep C Project is dedicated to serving the people of San Luis Obispo County by providing care and support for those living with Hepatitis C, as well as their families and friends, by honoring the memories of those in our county has lost to the disease, and by reaching out to the community to educate the public on the presence and prevention of HIV/AIDS. We seek to include people from all walks of life in our services, and will never turn any person away for any reason.

Description

The SLO Hep C Project is the sole community-based non-profit in San Luis Obispo County specifically dedicated to addressing Hepatitis C and caring for people living with both. We serve over 300 clients county-wide by helping with medical, emotional, and practical needs, including a no-limit food pantry. We likewise engage in community outreach to raise awareness about the presence and prevention of Hepatitis C.
