The Mission of Feeding South Dakota is to eliminate hunger in South Dakota. Forever.

Description

Feeding South Dakota distributes donated, reclaimed and purchase food to over 200 member agencies to meet the ever increasing need of individuals and families who do not have enough food to eat. We provide over 2 million pounds of food annually in this fight against hunger.

The Feeding South Dakota BackPack Program provides at-risk children with nutritious, easy-to-prepare food for the weekend, until access to meal programs resume. The food is packaged for the children to carry home, freeing them of the stigma of poverty that many low-income children face among their peers.
