TRU Mission The Red Umbrella's (TRU) mission is to achieve the highest possible standards in assisting women of all races and income levels that have experienced a recent divorce or death of a spouse, and single mothers who have never married and have children under the age of 18. The Red Umbrella is committed to helping women solve the most intense question in their lives, "what comes next". Hand in hand, TRU will welcome and guide these women through the subsequent phase of their lives and empower them to take the next step towards independence and a brighter future.

Description

The Red Umbrella (TRU) is based in Frisco, but assists women at various locations throughout the Metroplex. TRU believes that women who have experienced loss of a spouse and/or single mothers with minor children have a tremendous amount of stress in their lives that doesn't allow them to function to their full capacity. The Red Umbrella teaches various courses that empower these women with the tools they need to take the next step towards a brighter future. TRU incorporates stress management into its entire curriculum that enables women to fully grasp The Red Umbrella's goal for them.
