The Long Tom Watershed Council serves to improve water quality and watershed condition in the Long Tom River basin through educationi, coordination, consultation, and cooperation among all interests, using the collective wisdom and voluntary acction of our community members.
LTWC is people from a diversity of perspectives coming together to learn about the Long Tom River basin and what we can do to improve water quality and fish and wildlife habitat. Since 1998, we've been working to do just that.
Using public and private donations and grant funding, we provide education and restoration services to watershed residents.
We've completed over 50 restoration projects on private property and held over 115 workshops & events -- and counting! What makes us successful is our desire to reach out and cooperate with all watershed residents.
