To relieve hunger in our community by rescuing surplus prepared and perishable food and donating it to emergency food providers.
We pick up fresh, perishable food 6 days per week in refrigerated trucks and deliver the food that day to soup kitchens, homeless shelters, etc. In 2012, we delivered over 42 million pounds of food that might otherwise have gone to waste, to over 200 agencies in metro Detroit that serve those in need.
