The Catskill Center fosters and protects the environmental, cultural and economic well being of the Catskill Mountain Region. Our interdisciplinary approach to protecting our ecosystems and creating vibrant communities encompasses four program areas - Arts & Culture, Education, Natural Resources, and Regional Planning.
Our efforts have led to the protection of over 18,000 acres of land in seven counties, the education of over 9,000 students and 400 teachers, and the revitalization of Main Street in dozens of communities across the Catskills. To date, we have provided over 140 artists residency at the Platte Clove Preserve and held dozens of exhibits at the Erpf Gallery in Arkville.
