Description

FIWI is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that was established in 1985 by a group of parents looking to fulfill an unmet need. FIWI was established with a mission to provide employment and training services to the most underserved citizens within our communities. We have since expanded our mission to include providing the most successful and positive employment outcomes for all individuals who seek these services.

Through our involvement and evolvement in the workforce development environment, FIWI serves all individuals, without prejudice or bias, who require individualized core, intensive and training services to achieve economic empowerment. We are a customer-driven organization and focus our efforts on assisting customers to obtain the best employment and career outcomes.

FIWI has been providing workforce development operations and management, assessment, training and placement services to disadvantaged individuals under both the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 (WIA) and the Job Training Partnership Act (JTPA). FIWI has more than 25 years of experience in Florida’s workforce system, and has operated or provided services within multiple Florida workforce regions since our inception in 1985.

We are committed to developing the talent of our customers so that they may excel in the workforce and in all aspects of life. We live by the motto; "Cultivating Opportunity, Showcasing Talent."
