A person faced with a life-limiting illness deserves to live the rest of life fully, comfortably and with dignity. United Hospice achieves this by providing dedicated quality holistic care, treating the physical, social and spiritual being as the patient approaches his or her final days.

With this thought in mind we use volunteers as a way of enriching the lives of our patients and their families while on our service. United Hospice volunteers are the heart and essence of hospice. Volunteers are a 'gift' to the agency, the patient and the family. They work hand-in-hand with the members of the hospice team to provide a high quality end-of-life experience to our patients and families.
