Mission Statement

Once thought to be a rare disorder, Autism is now believed to affect as many as 1 in every 70 children, making it the nation's fastest-growing serious developmental disorder.

Our Mission at Super Swimmers Foundation is to teach children with Autism to swim. We feel that by using our Swim with Mr. Blue program which includes the Learn to Swim with Mr. Blue book and DVD we can help hundreds and hopefully thousands of children with autism learn to swim both safely and successfully. Donations through the foundation will enable us to provide children, whose families may not otherwise be able to afford swim lessons, with the knowledge to swim; therefore improving their muscular development, speech, and confidence in a fun and loving environment

Description

Mr Blue and Ms Julie are very excited and proud to introduce their new foundation called the Super Swimmers Foundation which teaches children with Autism to swim using the Swim with Mr Blue program.

We are overjoyed at the amount of love and support we receive each and every day from families who are amazed at what their child with autism is able to accomplish in our Swim with Mr. Blue learn to swim program. Not only are our children with autism swimming but they are also kissing their moms on the cheek for the first time, singing Mr. Blue songs, and even talking about swimming with Mr. Blue when they drive onto our premises. Super Swimmers Foundation tries to meet families where they are at depending on their financial needs. We have the "Sammy The Salmon Swim Scholarship program" that helps families who either cannot afford the swimming lessons or who need help paying for some of the costs. The ultimate goal is to provide totally "free" swim lessons for families who have children with autism. All Donations received will help Mr Blue and his crew get that much closer to their goal.
