Description

Ivanhoe Village is a member-based organization made up of local business owners, residents and members of local government who are committed to long term restoration and community growth of one of Orlando's most historical and cultural districts. Ivanhoe Village is made possible through the interest, efforts and generosity of The National Trust Main Street Center, the City of Orlando as well as our many members and volunteers who have recognized the district potential and want to make a difference in the quality of life for all.

The City of Orlando recognizes the important role neighborhood commercial districts play in the overall health of neighborhoods as they contribute to a good quality of life. The City of Orlando offers business district revitalization support to Orlando neighborhood commercial districts.

Through The Orlando Main Street Program, districts chosen receive financial and technical assistance and intensive training in the Main Street 4 Point approach (Design, Economic Restructuring, Organization and Promotion). Each Main Street organization hires a full time Executive Director, raises matching funds, incorporates its organization and implements its programs according to an annual work plan. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
