Mission Statement

Our Mission: To preserve, and operate the Kennedy Martin Stelle Farmstead, a National Register Historic Landmark, as Farmstead Arts, a not-for-profit center for fine, performing and practical arts.

Our Vision: To build community through the arts by providing a supportive, cooperative environment for appreciation and participation in the fine, performing and practical arts.

In this pursuit we will capitalize on the Kennedy Martin Stelle Farmstead's rich historical culture that spans our community's life from Colonial times to the modern day.

Through the Friends of the Kennedy Martin Stelle Farmstead, Farmstead Arts provides programs and meeting space accessible to people of all ages and from all socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds, in an historic environment that encourages, inspires and educates area artists and the community at large.
