I have taken a group of college students to Hazard, KY 3 times to work with the Housing Development Alliance and our experience has been amazing all 3 times! Kelly Sizemore and the HDA work with each volunteer group to match the talents we bring to each job site assignment. The housing options they provide are also very safe and the HDA has also worked with us to find cultural enrichment opportunities in the area so our volunteers can learn more about Appalachia.
