Mission Statement

It is the ongoing mission of the Victim Services Elder Abuse Program to provide direct assistance to all elder or dependent adult abuse victims by bringing cultlurally and language-appropriate services directly to those in need.

Description

Victim Services Elder Abuse Program provides information and support to senior citizens (over age 65) and dependent adults who have been crime victims in San Francisco or who are currently residing in San Francisco. Our comprehensive services include helping elder and/or dependent adults to cope with the trauma of victimization, orientation to the criminal justice system, accompaniment to court, assistance with property return, as well as appropriate resources, referrals and information.
