Mission Statement

The goal of Carolina H.E.E.L.s (Helping to Educate and Encourage Leaders) is to bring children from diverse backgrounds to the UNC-CH campus for leadership building programs. Youth Leadership Day is the middle school program while Tar Heel 4 a Day is the high school student program.

Description

Carolina H.E.E.L.s is a student organization at UNC-CH. The group is organized and lead by full-time students and has an Executive Board and sub-committees. Funding for the programs comes through grants and donations and the organization has tax-exempt status to receive gifts from interested donors.
