Mission Statement

As a society we will rescue adoptable companion animals in Desoto County, offering suitable fostering homes until permanent homes can be found. Giving our animals as many chances as needed, taking them back if an adoption does not work out. Provide interim medical care as necessary. Require and encourage the spaying and neutering of companion animals. Have volunteers available for behavioral questions and training problems to assist the adopters. Enhance the quality of human life with animal companionship. Educate the public to secure higher ideals of humanity towards all animals: indeed, increase awareness of the pet overpopulation tragedy and protect them from cruelty, neglect, carelessness and ignorance. Cooperate and network with other animal welfare organizations and individuals worldwide.
