The purpose of Hampshire Community Action Commission is to make Hampshire County more responsive to the needs and interests of low-income people throughout Hampshire County. The agency's main goal is to secure opportunities which assist those who have the potential to become financially self-sufficient and to ensure that those who require services are able to obtain necessary assistance while maintaining the highest degree of self-esteem.

Description

HCAC First Call for Help serves as a link between people who need help and the agencies and services available in Hampshire County. Through this free and confidential service, callers can get the information and referrals they need to access all kinds of resources including: housing services, congregate meals/food pantries, government services, legal aid, emergency assistance, health care, consumer protection, support groups, clubs and organizations, children and family services and more.
