CASA advocates for the best interests of abused and neglected children within the juvenile court system. Based on the belief that every child is entitled to a safe and permanent home, CASA works in the court system through trained volunteers in collaboration with key agencies, legal counsel and community resources to serve as the child's advocate and represent the child in Juvenile Court. CASA volunteers do their own investigation and send reports directly to the judge giving them more information along with recommendations as to what they believe is in the child's best interests. CASA volunteers strive to make the child welfare/foster care system work. Speak up for a child - become a CASA volunteer.
