Mission Statement

The Mission of the Child Development Institute is to help all children reach their full potential by supporting the relationships and relationships that shape their early development.

Description

The Child Development Institute (CDI) has served as a vital resource for children and their families for more than 23 years. Research shows that early experiences play a crucial role in children's healthy growth and development. CDI focuses on the development of the whole child, his or her early relationships, environments and communities.

CDI promotes healthy development at our Early Learning Center (ELC), a FREE museum quality, developmentally-appropriate play and learning space open to all children ages 0-6 and their families. We partner with trained volunteers and community groups to offer a variety of programs such as reading groups, nutrition classes, nature clubs, parenting workshops and more. CDI Early Learning Center promotes healthy development for all young children and provides connection to community resources and opportunities to strengthen families.

Promoting Healthy Development For All Children

With a focus on nature and the benefits of nature in children’s healthy development, the ELC offers activities and special events that support your children’s social-emotional development and school-readiness through literacy, art, science, music, gardening, health and wellness activities that can be done with parents, caregivers, siblings, and new friends from the ELC.

Healthy growth and development is a crucial factor in a child's future success, there's no better way to support the future generation than enriching their minds from a young age.
