The Literacy Council of Seattle empowers diverse adult learners to be successful in their jobs, families, and community by teaching essential English literacy skills through student-centered instruction.

Description

For over 40 years, the Literacy Council of Seattle has brought education services to the Seattle adults who need it most. We provide English classes and one-on-one tutoring all over Seattle, and teach our students the real-world English they need for their every-day lives. Our programs help students learn the language skills they need to meet their individual goals, whether that means attending community college, passing a certification test, or being able to speak to their child’s teacher.
