Mission Statement

To promote awareness of Chinese culture and festival traditions.

  1. To foster amicable relations within the Chinese community in the Birmingham area.
  2. To foster good relations between the local ethnic Chinese population and the Birmingham community.

BCFA is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational and scientific purpose including for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501 ?(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any federal tax code

Description

The Birmingham Chinese Festival Association brings together nine Chinese-related organizations. Our membership is comprised of Chinese-Americans, local business persons and other area residents. Our mission is to bring together our multicultural communities to celebrate the New Year and to promote business and cultural exchanges within the city of Birmingham. We believe Birmingham's Chinese-Americans have much to share and contribute to the culture, diversity and economic success of the region.
