The mission of Long Island Head Start is to provide a comprehensive learning environment to children, repectful of their cultures; and to assist families in reaching self-suffciciency through the combined efforts of parents, community and staff

Description

Long Island Head Start is funded by the Federal Government to assist and support children and families living at poverty level or below. We have 24 centers located in Suffolk Country and service over 1675 children. If you love children and have some extra time please volunteer at a center closest to your home or business.
