Mission Statement

Community Music Center was founded in 1921 on the philosophy that age, ethnic background, and income level must never be obstacles to participation in the life-enhancing qualities of a music education. CMC is a community resource where the study of music is a cherished undertaking and the program is based on excellence, diversity, and accessibility.
