Mission Statement

The Community Development Corporation of Utah (CDC), is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization created in 1991. Our mission is to help low-income families achieve homeownership and become stable partners in their community. People with disabilities, those living in substandard housing, those on public assistance who are seeking self-sufficiency, and people in danger of being homeless or institutionalized receive priority attention.

Description

Through CDC, new homes are built, existing housing stock is rehabilitated, and neighborhoods are revitalized. We also provide a combination of services to assist first time homebuyers including credit and debt counseling, homebuyer education, down payment grants, low interest mortgage packages, and deferred mortgages. To date, we have assisted over 1,200 families in 91 Utah communities.
