Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide to the public information about mental illnesses and to support those who are affected by a mental illness.

Description

MHAJC is goverened by a 9 member board of directors who help the director oversee the programs we have. We provide bi-monthly socials for clients, provide mental health information at health fairs, provide lessons once a month to 6 pre-school classrooms focusing on building good self esteem in young children, provide newspaper articles monthly to two newspapers, provide free depression screening on National Depression Screening Day, provide Christmas gifts to ~200 clients at Christmas time.
