Mission Statement

Hospice is a concept of care for terminally ill patients that provides each of the services that Americans say they would like to receive at the end of life. Texas Home Health Hospice provides this care through a multidisciplinary team of professionals that are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Description

Hospice is not a place. It is a concept of care that treats the person, not the disease, and emphasizes quality of life, not the duration. The hospice team of caregivers, including the volunteers, work with the patients and their families to develop individualized plans of care that are designed to ease the patient's physical and emotional pain. Hospice caregivers and volunteers provide emotional support to the patient and their family during the most difficult time of their lives so they can "put their lives in order" and make the last stage in life even more meaningful.
