Mission Statement

Bridge Communities provides transitional housing and comprehensive services to homeless families that live and work in DuPage County. Our mission is to inspire and affect change by advocating for homeless families while at the same time providing services and opportunities that connect those families to a better future.

Description

Bridge Communities provides a holistic program of services that provide the necessary elements to create permanent change in the lives of homeless families.

The strength of the Bridge Communities Program is in the positive relationship that develops between the volunteer mentors and the client families.

Bridge Communities serves extremely low, low and moderate income families who have become homeless due to reasons such as divorce, domestic violence, loss of employment, and health issues.

Our program of housing, mentoring and empowering families focuses on moving them towards a goal of self sufficiency
