Fostering Hope Foundation

Description

We support foster parents by finding and training teams of volunteers from the faith community to support a foster family. Foster parents are often isolated, burned-out, and without incentive to do the myriad tasks expected of them by the foster care system. By providing support, we have been able to have more foster parents persist, especially those who deal with sibling groups, adolescents, or those with medical fragility - the toughest cases. The result is better outcomes for foster children - more stability, more enrichment, and more connection within the community.
