Mission Statement

Last Chance Animal Rescue is a Charitable, not -for profit organization, created to save the lives of animals. We rescue animals that are located in "KILL" facilities and underwrite the costs of relocating them to "NO KILL" facilities in hopes of finding them a forever family. We work with local veterinarians for spay-neuter/ medical services until permanent placement is secured into a pre-screened loving home. The group was officially started in 2009 and has rescued, rehabilitated and re-homed over 1500 animals. We do not discriminate against any dog or any breed; we give everyone a chance to live a normal healthy life. We depend on donations to continue to save these helpless loving animals from being killed and hope that you will consider supporting our cause..... saving as many lives as we can. At any given time, Last Chance Animal Rescue could have anywhere from 80-100 dogs in our care. That makes us one of the largest foster based rescues in NY. That also means that we are always looking for more donations, more volunteers and more foster parents. Our mission is simple; give every dog a chance to find a forever home. Since Home Last Chance doesn't have a shelter, we hold adoption events at different pet stores every Saturday from 11-4. Seasonally we attend pet fairs and large adoption events that can be all weekend with longer hours. There is a lot to do during an adoption event and we need help!
