Mission Statement

The purpose of habitatEARTH,inc. a New York non-profit corporation, is to facilitate and begin the building and documentation of low cost housing using a no or low skilled workforce, from replenishable (sustainable) and discarded materials, along with installation of low cost self producing utilities, so that external services and associated costs are kept to a minimum. Further, the in depth documentation of these buildings will be made availale to all pubic or private individuals and groups via various media channels at no cost (or at cost of production for some media styles). Thus allowing a no or low skilled owner-builder to self produce a nurturing and environmentally sound home at the lowest possible cost. habitatEARTH also researches, develops, and documents various "eco-village" concepts consisting of clusters of these "natural built" buildings.
