Mission Statement

AFS-USA is a nonprofit organization which works to build a more just and peaceful world through international education and exchange. We provide life-changing intercultural learning experiences to individuals, families, schools, and communities through a global network of independent, nonprofit AFS organizations, each with a professionally staffed office and a team of dedicated volunteers.

Description

AFS has two teams in the Greater Dallas area, working closely together: Dallas and Lewisville/Denton. We are always looking for good volunteers! Our organization has a few scheduled activities throughout the year including field trips, orientations, and parties which we recruit volunteers to take part in. However, most volunteers are active throughout the year tending to the various needs of our AFS students, host families, liaisons and other volunteers. We would love to have you join our Team! We are also always looking for new families to host our AFS exchange students coming from 90 countries worldwide to study in local high schools and discover the US culture with you!
